A2 Key
You can cope with simple, everyday situations using the language. You will be able to understand and use basic phrases and expressions, understand basic written English, introduce yourself and answer basic questions about yourself and interact with English speakers at a basic level.
B1 Preliminary
You have mastered the fundamentals of English, and have acquired the skills for everyday use of the language. You are able to read simple texts and articles in English, write letters and emails on everyday matters, and are aware of opinions and moods in spoken and written English.
B2 First
You are able to work and live without problems in an English-speaking country, and you are completely independent with the language. The doors to many job and training opportunities are open to you. You are a clear and effective communicator, you can write clear and precise English, as well as express your opinions and understand different points of view.
C1 Advance
Your level of English is high and recognised by over 8,000 educational institutions around the world. You are able to take a university-level academic course in English, you can communicate effectively at an administrative and professional level, as well as participate with ease in work meetings, classes and academic seminars.
C2 Proficiency
You have an exceptional command of English, being able to communicate without any difficulty. You are able to speak on complex or sensitive matters and fluently address problematic issues, study international postgraduate and doctoral programmes, or participate in high-level events and meetings without communication problems.
